Awards Ceremony 2016

The ATHIOOC medals and awards ceremony took place on Monday, May 16 2016 at the King George II Hotel in central Athens, preceded by a special tasting event featuring the olive oils awarded at the competition. The event was attended by many of producers, who came to Greece especially for the awards ceremony. Among them was Romina Salvadori, representing the family that produces the Il Cavallino extra virgin olive oil in Bibbona, Tuscany, which won a Double Gold Medal, who noted that she was quite moved to win an award in Greece, ancestral home of the olive and olive oil culture.
