Alexandra Roché-Gauquelin

Alexandra is an olive oil expert, consultant and EVOO producer in Luberon, France. From 1990 to 2013 she worked as a public relations executive in Paris, at which point she decided to become a farmer and an olive oil producer. She obtained her university diploma as an “Oléologue” by the University of Montpellier in a six month program run conjointly with AFIDOL, the French Olive Oil Interprofessional Association. In 2015 Alexandra moved to Gordes, where she is now producing extra virgin olive oil at her estate Ferme Les Callis from about 20 acres of olive trees. She consults regularly for several olive oil producers in southern France and is the co-creator of L’HOVE, a cluster of women olive oil experts that organizes seminars for both consumers and professionals.
